1955 Bach Mt Vernon Stradivarius (Serial 14XXX). Regarded as some of the best periods of Bach production. This is an excellent playing horn and is the classic 37 bell with the 25 leadpipe in ML bore. This has been confirmed with the shop card. This is a great playing example with no signs of repairs or major trauma. There are so small dings and a few minor dents in the bell but the horn plays excellent with a tremendous amount of core. This horn plays more open to me than a later Elkhart 37. No signs of red rot and the original lacquer is around 70% remaining.
